I'm looking into picking up a rifle in 350 Legend, and the thread on the barrel is 1/2 x 28 (9mm). My question is, can you use any 9mm muzzle device, or just specific ones? I'm looking for either a basic flash hider or a comp. I just don't want to put a comp meant for a 9mm PCC on the end of my rifle and find out that was a bad idea when the thing is bouncing down range...

Did a whole lot of looking, and didn't find too much. almost everything I've found is meant for 9mm luger (super short), not a rifle round like the 350 Legend. That Atlas 9 looked pretty cool, but $100 is pretty steep. I mainly just need something to cover the threads on the barrel.

I found a standard A2 birdcage that's been bored out to 9mm. It's $13, so that's probably what I'll go with. I might upgrade to something "cooler" when the market expands to better cover 35/9mm cals like the 350 Legend and 9x39mm.

    Thanks fellas.

Any old thread protector will work if that's all you need.

My 9mm AR came with the flash hider in your link. Definitely nothing special.
