Most O/U shotguns are used in sporting clay, Trap, and Skeet events. Barrel lengths and chokes are important when deciding what discipline you will be shooting. If the barrel is 28 in or under stick with shooting skeet or recreational hunting as shotguns in this length are considered field guns. Most shooters I work with use O/U shotguns with barrels 30 to 32 in especially when competing sporting clay and Trap as shotguns within this class are considered sporting guns. My daughter uses a Beretta 694 30 in barrel 12 gauge.Found an CZ Drake 12 ga at a local pawnshop. It takes 3” shells. Will it take 2 3/4 shells also? For those who own this shotgun or similar shotgun, do you use it as a field gun or for sporting clays? Thanks in advance
