Bought a 1970 Remington 1100 28ga. SKEET that was as neglected but the price was right. Found a replacement forearm to discard the cracked one, but next I would like to barrel/receiver/mag tube refinished. I know it hurts collector value but I’m. It looking to sell it.

Thr reciver shows has some slite rust pitting. That will have to buffed out or media blasted then rebuffed. If you do not mind a more matted bluing a slow rust blue would look nice. Easy to do yourself if you have time. I have used Mark Lee's Express Rust blue in the past with great results.

It's not an expensive gun. The wood refinish alone would run approx. $400 and the recoil pad is very poorly fit that's another $100
With the stamped checkering it's not worth a $500 bill. The fake gold inlays will run a few hundred atop of the bluing work. I'd say $12-$1400 complete easy.
