i had this old gun.. a model 1914 Mauser in .32ACP (7.65 browning)… here‘s a pic I dug up from the old phone

it‘s the only time I had an unexpected discharge (except for a couple of days after that night in Juarez in 1972)… but that’s a different story

Back to the gun… when I racked the slide to chamber a round after inserting a loaded magazine, the gun fired… (striker released?) I’m positive my finger was not even in the trigger guard (do I sound like Alec Baldwin now?)
