Would you just take your carry gun as you carry it or how would that work?

Live, Laugh, Love. If that doesn't work, Load, Aim and Fire. (repeat as necessary)

    From their site
Modern Defensive Pistol, Holster specifically made for that pistol and designed to be worn on the belt at the "strong side", 3 Magazines and One Magazine Pouch, A Belt of the same width as the belt loops for the holster and magazine pouches, Range Safety Gear (Eye protection and ear protection)

I guess its just easier for me as I always wear my PD gear and duty holster. Some classes I've attended, most folks just wore a holster which the pistol properly fit and had a method of securing.

You're more than welcome to use your PF9, but would need an outside the waist band holster for this course. We do allow IWB in our intermediate and advanced classes.

There are some slots left in this class. The course will prepare you for intermediate courses such as Close Range Gunfighting. I will be teaching the draw, immediate action drills, failure to stop and after action assessment. This course is $200.00 for 8 hours of instruction and will be taught at the Impact Zone in Houston TX. If you've been wanting to take a Suarez course, here's your chance without burning vacation time. What better way to spend a Sunday ?

I will need to see what my ENT specialist says Thursday. I developed "Severe otitis Media" (fluid behind the ear drum), due to a sinus infection.
I have run an anti-biotics course but don't think that helped it....only other option is to drain the fluid by puncturing the ear drum, I will find out
    when I go Thursday.

I presume you would have a spare ammo pouch as well, I only have one to carry a spare mag in my pocket.
What is the normal attire, I am not very "tacti-cool"?

For basic classes I keep extra belts mag pouches and holsters handy. You never know what some folks will show up with and frankly if they're fighting their gear the whole class, their focus will be on fighting their gear and not learning.
