I have a great Colt Govt Model in 38 ACP from 1984 (Serial #RC26507). Gun is used but I went to Reds Gun Range today and shot 21 rounds of Monarch 94 grain JHP with no issues. 3.25" barrel length. Colt MKIV Series 80 made from 1984 to 1997. 6.15"total length and a weight of 21.75 ounces.
One mag that holds 7 rounds.
