Are the kimber 7 rounders reliable? im getting the ria this week and i would like the magazine to fit flush.

Hey Tackle - get a 7-round Kimber mag - it'll fit up flush in those RIA's an' HS compacts!

i carry them at work new. i also have owned two myself and have had no complaints. i like em. great value for the money.

I have the ria compact/3.5 inch and really like it. Shoots very well, easy to break down for cleaning. GI sights work well for me, trigger pull is around
4-5 lbs(guessing) its crisp and clean for me. I think you will enjoy one if you buy it! Vet

The RIA officer's model is my favorite carry gun... it is SUPER accurate. The pistol easily shoots 1" groups at 21" and is my most accurate 1911. Trigger is a tad heavy and I am going to get a trigger job done at some point as it is in the 5-6 lb. range. The GI sights are not my favorite but I fixed that by applying some of the self-stick glow-in-the-dark dots.

i didnt know ria had a compact tactical. ill have to check the catalog if they got a 2011 version.
