I have had a Ruger 22 American it was a nice shooter but I ended up selling it off and buying a Ruger precision rimfire in .17hmr the round costs more but I can group it better and when compared to the crazy match .22 I’m saving money.

The savage MK ii is also a good choice that I’ve played with and always enjoyed.

My Savage FVSR came with a threaded barrel and is very accurate with CCI SV for me. With the silencer on it is also very quiet. You can hear the hammer fall and pfft!

Late to the party but is that a scoped rifle or a rifled scope?

    Back to the OP,

CZ 452, 455, 457 are excellent rifles. Easy to change between 17hmr, 22lr, and 22 mag with the corresponding barrels, mags.

I've almost bought this Savage a few times. The 93's can be very accurate rifles.
