This is a silly subject. I've never seen one. I don't know anyone who's claimed to see one, but there have been rumors of Bigfoot sightings in Texas.

So, just for the fun of it, is there anyone here that claims to have seen one, or know of anyone who claim's to have seen one, here in Texas?

They've claimed for years the piney woods had a Bigfoot. Supposedly they have DNA evidence that proves it is a possibility that they exist...still not sure though.

When I was in college, we would get bored and go out bigfoot hunting. We lived in Huntsville and there wasnt much else to do. A good friend of mine had property in the national forest. We usually ended up just going out to the woods and drinking.

    Outside San Antonio
There is supposed to be a Bigfoot in the undeveloped land west of Loop 1604 @ Hwy 151 in outer west San Antonio. A homeless couple called police a few years back to report a sighting in the area. However, Southwest Research is in that area, and it is not uncommon for research subjects of the simian persuasion to escape and try to make a living out there. I'm guessing late at night by the light of a fire, a baboon or bonobo or whatever they use looks a lot bigger than it really is.

Between bigfoot on animal planet and aliens on history channel, I find myself turning the tube off more often these days :p
