I tried a soundbar for the TV about a year ago, didn't like it, returned it to Best Buy. I saw an inexpensive unit on the shopping site Woot, Woot is basically a clearing house for Amazon. The unit listed for $115, can be bought cheaper if you look around, it was for sale for $35 free shipping if a Prime member. Advertised as new but open box, after watching YouTube videos the reviews were good. I purchased one, open the box and no cables, I contacted Woot. They told me they would refund the money and don't need to return it. Which they did, refund the money. I have extra HDMI cables and was able to connect it to the TV, using the Arc output from the TV. That little unit works great and I now have it for free.
