Didn't even think of that. Our government essentially funding a reward to China.

Locally our food bank gets over half of its support from private individuals and businesses but the rest comes from various government entities at the local, state and federal level.

Apparently, people who receive social security will get their stimulus payments by direct deposit through Social Security Administration and that procedure has not been implemented yet, so we will have to wait...

Our stimulus deposit was clearly marked from IRS. I just got my disability back pay check & it's marked Social Security.

I have never set up direct deposit with IRS, or had a direct deposit from IRS, so that probably makes a difference. Got my Social Security deposit Wednesday, no stimulus payment yet.

Yup if your tax refund was ever direct deposited so will it. Not sure why people hold out on things like direct deposit. While I was working not only was my money in the bank 2 days earlier, I didn' have a line to stand in to get it or deposit it.

The only way my wife can save any money is have some yanked from her SSD check. 2019 my income was $2019.00. The refund was $2051.00, while working we generally got $4K back. Early in life I figured out there was time & there was money. I enjoyed my time more then no time & money.
