I drive a full sized SUV and have been looking for ideas for storing a SHTF Shotgun/Riffle. The high dollar stuff is a no go so it will need to be something reasonable in price. I have seen all of the drawers and the like but those require that you exit the vehicle which is a no go. The only thing I can think of is a SKB case that is modified with a couple hardened loops installed so that I can cable/padlock them to the 3rd row floor bars. This way the case is accessible at the interior of the vehicle and it in a locked case bolted to the vehicle.

    But then I found this:

It is called am organizer for Pickup trucks, but how would it work in a truck?
I sure would not want to mount it in the bed.
Are you able to remove it & use the other seat in back, or are the rails in the way?

ETA: just looked at the rest of the pics, so ignore the second question.

I have a third row removable seat in mine so I have the same question. I emailed them for dimensions.

Well, I think the last picture showed the mounting rails & there is only section (that I saw) & it is under the rear end part of the box only, you can
actually see it in the picture you used.
