I see there is a gun show in Taylor this weekend and I'm thinking of going.

If anyone has gone can they give me an idea of how big the show actually is? I'm from a place where gun shows have been shrinking in size due to the anti gun politics, which is why I ask.

    Thanks.

Sadly, that was what the last shows I went to in my former state were like. With the addition of Nazi memorabilia and other silliness. Still, it's a not very expensive way to spend a Saturday morning.

Seems like it's the same as the gun shows I went to in New England. OTOH, I do like walking around looking for parts and especially looking for magazines for my S&W 3rd Generation semi autos. Every once in a while I'll see a vendor who doesn't know the market for those and score a bargain.

Plus I need a couple of parts for my AR15.

I've never been to a good gun show in Texas, Nevada, Arizona they all the same sellers asking for Gold for their goods.

Pretty close. Not that I ever expect bargains at gun shows. It's nice to look at the guns, but if I were seriously buying I'd go to a gun shop or pawn shop.

In addition to the overpriced guns, there were knives, jewelry, one Jerky seller, a couple of magazine vendors, and that was about it. Other than the guns that can't be sold by FFLs in MA and the standard capacity magazines at cheap prices, it wasn't much different than the last show I went to up there.

It was nice to see new in package 30 round AR magazines for under $20.00 though.
