Hope she's having a great time. Looks like it so far.

I'm jealous, never been to England.

Myself. And I've got a castle/manor over there with my name on it. One day, long before I kick off, I'd really like to get over there to see it, and see the region where my sir name comes from.

Why is it the younger generation insists on making faces instead of just smiling? I'm not a fan of the large glasses either, but my youngest wears the same. Guess that just makes me old and out of touch.

I do like the armadillo in the photo. If she always takes pictures with it, it should make for a very interesting album and momento in years to come.

That reminds me of a song. You know the one.

I wanna go home with the armadillo

I'm pretty sure she was aping the guards demeanor.
She smiles, but the glasses ...
I'm thinking the armadillo is everywhere.

    One last one.
    Lest I get caught.
She went to college in AR, on an acting scholarship.
She does have a Texas sized sense of humor:

Hm ... an embedded image, and they usually work fine.
For reasons I won't go into here, I filter tinypic more strenuously than other photo sites. With your link and some temporary removal of controls, I saw the pic.

    Nice.

Thanks, first heard of tinypic being recommended here.
I'll keep an eye out ...

    Love the pictures!

I traveled extensively in my younger days and my SOP was to get refrigerator magnets from all the places that I visited. The collection grew to the point that you could hardly tell there was a refrigerator under the magnets. The end came when the little magnets grew dusty/dirty and there was no easy way to clean them. I took them down and put them in a storage box out in the barn.

It was fun while it lasted!

    Helotes!
I love the UK, and especially London. It is one of the most dynamic cities I have ever been to. I've been lucky in that I've spent nearly a month in that country this year alone, and I was stationed there back in the early 80s. There is just so much to see and do that if it weren't for the draconian gun laws and the expensive cost-of-living, I would actually consider living there. A buddy of mine from college does, and loves it...
