I have a friend that has 3 of these. He always has one in each front pocket and in cool weather he has the third one in his vest.
Show me the law!Great thread, I'm still lugging around my heavy Kahr K9 (holstered).
Question: has TX law been updated to allow pocket holsters (rather than belt)?
Colt Defender ............. 45ACP.
I've recently read a half dozen "belt or shoulder" holster required statements (yes I used google). Many of these may be equating concealed with open carry. I've lived in GA for 14 years and (unwisely) no holster is required for open carry there.Show me the law!

Agreed! I can't quote a statute that is not there (or that I can't find).Belt or shoulder holster required for open carry as opposed to, say, Mexican carry with the handle clearly visible.
Concealed carry, stuff it in your pocket for all the law cares.
Pocket carry a LC9s or a S&W 637, the public has never said anything. A gun person my be able to tell, but no one has said anything!
I'm only referring to concealed carry.
ETA: I can find nothing so far indicating any requirement for a holster for concealed carry. If you have some info (numbers, etc.) on a legal statute/requirement, I'd appreciate knowing what they are so I can read them.
