This is mostly a BS thread but I'll push, to the fore, a serious comment.
The pro-life and pro-choice contingents have foundational irreconcilable differences.
Yet....
They agree on one bedrock concept.
They all believe that the undesired pregnancy is the root-cause problem.
So:
My question and my point.....
At what point can there be a communion of intellectual opinions?
When will our society, our great nation, come together and strive to make the undesired conceptions rare and begin availing American women to readily available, free and accessible contraception???
We needn't ban abortions if we eliminate the ill-conceived (bad pun) conceptions.
Am I wrong?

Free contraception? Why should we provide free contraception?
Figures our resident liberal would think people should have access to more "free" services.
Nothing is free or provided by the government. It is all provided by the taxpayers. I am tired of paying for other's poor choices.
Keep in mind that there are two parties to every conception that didn't use protection.
Birth control for either member is relatively cheap. You think making it free is really going to solve the problem? Think again.
Birth control is available free to the user or cheaper than just about anything else irresponsible people arbitrarily consume the day the screw. So I dont want to hear it. I'm not arguing about who pays for what so I dont need a economics lesson either.
Its murder plain and simple. I've been using the analogy that abortion is the same thing that was done to the stark boy on the game of thrones when he caught the siblings screwing. Pisses people off but it's TRUE. Just tossed away for the convenience of a quick screw.
He lived which many later term aborted babies do, unless a Dr kills them by breaking the neck or a sharp object plunged into the back of the head. I guarantee you every baby alive who survived an abortion attempt very much didnt want to die. If you care their stories are out there.
What is done during an abortion should be clearly explained to every so called patient just like every other medical procedure is. They dont do this because once people realize just what is going to happen to what is clearly not a parasite they have second thoughts. Every person in America should be clear on what happens during an abortion. If they were I cant believe a country that would charge a person for animal cruelty for flushing a fish or feeding one animal to another would sanction murder so easily.
You want to control your body I suggest you do so before you have sex. If you dont you're along for the ride just the same as men who impregnate women are with no say so in the matter. I'm not saying guys should be allowed to avoid responsibility but in a world screaming for equality... there is no excuse for reliving anyone of the responsibility of their actions in any situation especially this one where it's so cheap to not procreate. Cheaper than any other option whatever.
