Could somebody please post pictures of certain vintage shotgun shell boxes? I've been googling but all I've found is that I have decipher the stamped numbers on a box flap. What I would like a photo of -
1939 Remington 12 ga. shot shell box, would be paper shot shells and before Remington advertised their new crimp.
1959 Winchester .410 bore, 2 1/2" or 3" paper shot shells made before the child warning label was added in 1961 - 62.
I watch Ward's auction site, but the more I read, the more I get confused. Then I don't want to bid on the wrong era boxes.
I collect vintage .22 boxes, but there is not near the amount of information on the internet about shot shell boxes since the International ammunition collector's website went away. Thank you
