    my lgs has 3 of them in stock if you are interested. I believe they will ship to your LGS. Its an awesome store. This particular model was discontinued awhile ago and the unfluted cylinder pulled me off of the 637 PC I was about to buy

    It came up as 999.99 at the register but the manager honored the displayed price of $649.99. It was the display model. I cant tell you how many times I have gone into that exact store just to check if this particular gun was ever on sale. Got lucky today

    After seeing your post, I checked Academy's website and saw the listed $999. I wondered how the hell you pulled off $649.

    $649 is a steal for that sr1911! I paid quite a bit for mine. My gun locked up on me early…sent it back to Ruger (excellent customer service) and they fixed it up. It has been great since. Congrats on that purchase!

    How does Ruger screw up a 1911? It's not a new design and I expect a Taurus to be a turd but not a Ruger.


    I bought a Ruger 1911 when they first came out and it ran perfect. Only sold it to fund new pewpews.
