Added a Volquartsen recoil spring and guide rod plus a rubber bedding kit. I wasn't expecting much but I was wrong! I used the recommended gold heavy spring and this gave the pistol a whole new feel, very positive ejection and overall feel, out of 200 rounds I had zero failures to feed. The bedding kit is just a rubber block that pushes against the barrel to keep it from moving around, it made enough of a change that I had to add a few downward clicks of elevation and left windage. I'll fine tune it on the next outing, I'm really happy with it now though! You just can't beat a .22 for the most bang for buck.
You get a standard, reduced velocity for subsonic and a heavy gold spring along with the new guide rod.
I did away with the front sight and only rely on the red dot now, even though I have astigmatism I've gotten pretty comfortable with it.
10 yards with Aguila 40 grain high velocity, circles are 4 1/2" diameter. Took a pot shot at Dirty Doug as I was leaving with a 9, he deserved it lol.
Bought a laser rangefinder on amazon prime day sale. Got a case of Winchester 9mm and several boxes of Federal Gold Medal 175gr from Brownells with their free shipping and -10% code.
