Would you believe??
I purchased a new Ram Line synthetic stock and fore-end kit for my Western Field Model 740 (Marlin M336) lever action 30/30. The butt stock fit perfectly, but the fore-end didn't.
I called Ram-Line to see if I could exchange the fore-end for the right one (my rifle has the fore-end cap) and they told me they only make one fore-end stock and I would have to modify my rifle to accept the new fore-end by purchasing a new barrel band and bolt and modifying the barrel.
So. . . . I Need a Forend/Barrel Band with cross bolt for a Marlin M336.
