Target acquisition is definitely something. The new 40mm is way more accurate.

It is an interesting critter, I am still kinda fond of the old 203 though.... Nice "T-Patch", I wore it for about a year before I got AGR, you must be playing out in Bliss right now....

    Texas of course
I just recently put the "T-patch" on myself after wearing the 82nd patch for 11 1/2 years. ;)

Oh and as for the XM320 (HK AG36), I got to try one out couple years ago.......I'd stick with the M203 (still rather have the M79 though). Way too front heavy for me, but then again I was already really accurate with just the leaf sight.

The M203 is being replaced!? That thing looks like it has too many bells and whistles to break. I wore the 82nd patch for 2 years and the 49th/T-Patch for 7. HAd the T-Patch on both shoulders before I got out in 2007. DId my entire 7 years with 1-141 out of Camp Bullis in the Mortar Platoon. What unit are you with in the 36th? I am considering applying for a technician job with my old brigade...72nd.

That thing has to much sh*t on it that will break. LOL! I have never been in the service so I don't know what they hell I'm talking about anyway. But the 203 looked a lot more operator friendly.

You pretty much got it right. The more fancy crap hanging off of your rifle the more stuff will break. I would have to see one in person to make a better opinion.

Yeah, people said the same thing about red dot sights...

But if it helps you kill the smelly bearded man easier then it's all worth it, right?

I would NOT want to hump that thing.

I also prefer the old M203, I think the only thing this new one has that's better is the diversity of rounds it can fire.

screw em both, anything we cant wipe up with combined .50 and 240 fire, obviously we werent meant to destroy it, and thus on the 8th day, god invented Air Weapons Team and CAS (danger close knows no atheists)

personally, that just looks like one more piece of non essential crap to PMCS and have a running 2404 on

Now see there, that is so simple. A lot less to screw up mechanically (the weapon not the operator) when things are going 190 MPH and Jihad Johny is shooting at you. P.S I've seen it before in pics I just couldn't find one that I could post. Is that you Claymore?
