Well I just broke off a piece of tooth so I'm probably out anyway. Lol

I broke a tooth on my way down to Bogota earlier this year, unless it's hurting badly there's nothing to be worried about. It was about two weeks before I could get to a dentist, and I ended up having to get it crowned; but it didn't hurt so I wasn't too concerned.

If there are any sharp edges, use your Dremel to grind them down a little. Works like a charm!

I was eating almonds and half of one of my molars just broke off. I'm thinking of pulling the rest of it out myself. I can handle the pain, better than paying a dentist to just numb it and pull it.

ETA: I guess no sweet tea for a while :(

Depending on how much tooth is left, the dentist could crown it which is much better than having a gap. I lost a serious chunk when I was on my way down to Colombia, but as I said I was still able to have it crowned. Wasn't cheap though, the crown itself was almost a grand! Still, I'm too pretty to look like a native Alabaman!

My dentist constantly lectures me about my sweet tea addiction. I don't know why, it pretty much funds his practice! :D

    Cheers! M2

Well, I think our tactic of having breakfast over at IHOP then walking to the show has come to an end. One of our brethren had his truck broken in to while we were at the show. We suspect thieves realize people are parking there then going to the show, so they sit out in the lot waiting to see who leaves then hitting the vehicles. The odd thing was my windowless Jeep was parked right next to the truck but none of my junk was taken (I learned a long time ago to never leave anything valuable in the Jeep!).

Otherwise, the show was unremarkable. It was always a please taking to the Wakals of Dreadnaught Industries, but seeing that SAXET is now selling tables to a fountain vendor (yep, those ornamental structures people put in their gardens from which water is pumped into the air!) gives the appearance that this event is becoming more of a flea market and less of a gun show!

No fear, Premier is in two weeks and while it too has some non-firearm vendors; at least they try to keep the ratio at a reasonable level. Outside of picking up the GSG 1911 I ordered a few weeks ago, all I picked up was a US flag decal for a buddy at work. Otherwise, it was the same old same old...

    Cheers! M2

This angers me.... Even paying to park you still take a chance on being broken into. That back dirt lot isn't protected if you get stuck back there. I hate going to that area of town, I wish they would find a new place. The construction sucks, and so does the general area.

Bad day... Motorcycle Jacket went missing, and Greg lost a bag of tools.

Is Greg the one that got broken into, that really sucks. Did y'all park away from the IHOP?

Yup, his Dodge. And he parked right outside the window.... Someone had pulled the blinds inside IHOP.

Please tell me they didn't get his camper top? That's such an expensive piece of glass.

No. Just some things that could be taken, smash and grab style.

Phew, do they have cameras? That's so infuriating.
