How do you carry shotgun shotgun shells?

If I am just at the range I usually have a milk crate or one of these

If you werent staying in the same place how would you carry about a box of shells? I got a belt bandoleer, but I am not a fan of the elastic loops.

BDU pants work good. Shells go in the top pockets. Dove go in the thigh pockets.

When we go out to shoot clay birds, I use an Allen carry bag for the 200 rounds that I normally use. Boxing them up is just too much trouble. I have a vest that works well with giant pockets but our range requires that one member wears a yellow ARO vest and at the shotgun range, I'm usually "it." Having the range vest on, ruins the advantage of having the big pocket vest.
