My Mechtech uses Glock 21 mags, is threaded, and is insanely quiet with a Osprey 45 can attached. Accuracy out to 100 yds is very good, too. I got it on Gun broker and have about $400 in it, including getting it threaded.I went a little bigger and got a JRcarbine in 45acp. Uses Glock 21 mags. Super accurate at 50 yards and close range. Their customer service is second to none!!!!
I think if you ever have to use it, you won't even hear it...

A dedicated carbine is much more functional than simply adding a shoulder stock to a pistol.
If they were legal, it wouldn't interest me much, much rather have an actual short barrel carbine (which I imagine wouldn't require jumping through any hoops in a situation where stocked pistols are legal)
Has anyone had any experience with the Beretta cx4? I have a px4 storm and heard the cx4 takes full size mags from the px4. That would be nice to share mags.
Ruger PC9 if you can find one at a reasonable price. Have had mine since 2000 and love it. Will run any ammo without fail, takes the 15, or 10 factory Ruger mags, and the 30round aftermarket mags work just fine.
