Shoot&Reload thanks for sharing your pistols. The XDm is really slick and the 1911 you have are excellent. The Dan Wesson was top of the line and the Rock Island was very nice.

Thanks man. But still, I look at how deep y'all are in guns, and start to feel like I'm in a kiddy pool. Lol. Regardless, I see it as positive motivation.

It takes time to get to where you have what you want. Even then there's always new things coming out that are tempting.

Everyone has different tastes so don't worry about what other people have. Only you can know what you want.

Your Rock Island is something I never considered but after shooting it I have to admit that it's a sweet shooter.

Very true and wise words buddy.

Yeah that hi-cap 9mm 1911 shoots great, but if you want it to feel less like holding out brick; they make one without the rail and it comes with an extra barrel that shoots .22TCM (goes through 1/4" steel).

    Gunz are icky.
    TxG is correct.
It takes time to figure out what you like and don't like.
Thats one reason range days are so beneficial. You get to try out many types.

Yep. Jrb got me interested in the Rock Islands. He's got a sweet shooting 1911 commander in 9mm. I've been looking at those for a while and might be the next acquisition. Just got all of the guns cleaned up. Hands smell like Hoppe's. Furking extreme bullets send me a "special" every day. I apparently have to convince the wife I need to spend $250 on lead.

This made my Monday lots better. Some of y'all were around when I sighted in my pellet gun at the range. People laughed at the range. Got a pile of Eurasian collared doves in the yard. Who's laughing now? Sounds like free dinner to me.

What kind of air rifle is it?

I have a Ruger Yukon .22, a Benjamin Discovery PCP .22, and a Benjamin Marauder PCP .25. I bit the bullet and bought a high pressure compressor to feed the PCP rifles because I was having trouble finding a reliable source of high pressure air, and have not regretted it at all.

The Marauder .25 is no joke, I have seen pigs taken cleanly with them.

    Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.
