Hey All. I will be visiting your fine city in the middle of the week next week and would like to know where the best steakhouse in Austin is located.

Austin Land and Cattle on 12th. Hands down. Second on my list would be Fleming's followed by Three Forks. Ruth's Chris is ok for a chain.

We have a fogo here in Houston. The Three Forks sounds like the ticket so far but I normally only require two forks.. Thanks for the input. If there is any other tourist stuff that is good to do please let me know./

I've had steak at Truluks and it was awesome. Pricy though. If you're not concerned about price. Trulucks, Steiner Ranch Steakhouse.

If yyoure cheap like me. TX land an Cattle and TX Roadhouse.

Here are two to think about:
Three Forks (downtown area). Three Forks is excellent but its not cheap at all. Excellent location for central Austin.

Steiner Ranch Steak House (Steiner Ranch overlooking Lake Travis). More of a Texas flavor. I'd recommend this.

My company owns the building to Three Forks, but no one ever talks about it or does lunch there so I've been skeptical. Now, I might just give it a shot.
