I work every Saturday, or I would have been glad to come shoot with you guys.

I was at SGA last Sunday with my grand son. His first handgun shoot ever and he did pretty damn good with the Single Six.

Maybe next time there's a sunday shoot I can sneak out and join up.

let's do it at Hot Wells next time. SGA was annoying today with the puppy RSO drooling over NFA items then staring blankly at the stamps he intended to "verify." you could've handed him a 4473 and i bet he would be equally confussled. then there was the ol' boy nazi RSO that couldn't mind his own damn business and spoke very condescendingly to the customers. i still can't figure out why people prefer SGA over Hot Wells other than the eye candy counter girls and the AC. but oh boy the counter girl was sure pretty today! yoga pants and tank top; you'd think she just came from pilates but the SGA logo was embroidered on her top. made for quite a show as she leaned over to get us our targets. of course, jakashh played dumb and had her bend over a few times to retrieve targets because he couldn't make up his mind.

Pretty sure the other RSO you are talking about is Ray, he's a really nice guy, once you talk to him.

So I have to get to know them before they're nice to me? He is like that every time I'm there.

He was lecturing some guys on why steel case is not allowed. One of them said "you can check our other ammo too if you like." They were very polite and compliant but your buddy replied very condescendingly, "Oh I AM gonna check it!"

I trade business with them regularly and most of the folks there are really nice. Especially the owners and managers. They are very convenient for me so I will go back eventually. But it's not my 1st choice.

My schedule is extremely flexible, so it doesn't really matter.
They usually are not too busy Friday's, so no need to get there early.

ETA: I usually only shoot pistols at indoor ranges.
