I'm eventually going to have all of them(I hope). But I've narrowed it down to x95
    6.5 creedmoor bolt build
    And 6.5 grendel AR build.

Why would someone tire any more of a Tavor than they would an AR?

I'd go with something big though. .338LM or .50 BMG.

    Screw your list

I've always wanted a 338lm, buut 2.5-4 bucks a shot doesn't sound good very good.

Yeah, cheaper to reload .50 BMG, and it's better anyways.

Im going to build the 6.5 creedmoor... I know I said who ever gets the most votes will be the one i get, but long distance shooting does sound very appealing. If all fails ill just sell all my guns and pretend i dont know what a gun is.

Good call. the tavor is big, heavy, and chunky, and doesn't do anything new that an AR doesn't. the 6.5 will be more fun for sure.

If you want a cool AR platform that you can run .308, 6.5, or .260 take a look at the LMT MWS.

Well i didnt get the creedmoor, its a bit expensive to shoot and i dont reload. I decided to go with 6.5 grendel still capable of 1000 i think, but i like it more for a variety of game to shoot and its stopping power compared too 5.56. Thing is im not sure what optic to use. Should i use a mil-dot system ?

I don't follow all factory ammo prices very close but is Grendel ammo that much cheaper than 6.5 CM?

Without looking it up that doesn't seem to be a huge savings.

If you don't know how to use mils and aren't going to learn then it doesn't matter which system you go with. MOA is easier for me but I do have a working knowledge of the mildot system.

HA! From the beginning of this thread, I was sending the vibes of the 6.5 Grendel hoarde to influence your decision. Once you get it together, you will love it as I do mine. You have chosen well and it will get you to 1000 yards. The 6.5 has a lot of bullet selections for hunting, not so many factory rounds though. After a while, you might consider reloading for it. The Hornady 123 grain SST's are pretty easy to come by and have dropped a lot of game.

Optics are a very complicated subject depending on how far you want to go into them, and what you want to use them for. I think the first thing you have to decide is what the primary things are that you intend on shooting. A good optic for long range paper punching/steel ringing will likely not be the best choice for hunting because of factors like field of view. Mil vs. MOA really accomplish the same thing. If you think in meters/cm fluently Mil might be a better choice, if you think more in yards/inches MOA might be easier to work with. Just don't get a scope with a mil reticle and MOA turrets unless you have either a calculator with you or never intend on adjusting the turrets once you get it zeroed.

Henry makes a fine lever action. I have one in .22LR, Winchester 94 in .30-30 also hard to beat but my favorite is a Winchester Lever action in .38-40 to pair with my SAA.

Had an old Marlin in .30-30 that was one accurate rifle but I had to trade it away for another rifle I REALLY wanted and had been looking for a long time. At times, the timing is everything and it just happens :banghead:

I have a henry .22 that i love dearly, its been through alot in the little 3 years ive had it. I'd like to get a winchester 94 in 30-30 and a Winchester 1873 in 44-40, for the historical aspect and cool range toy
