I wish Glock would release a slim frame, full size, single-stack, .45acp! I'd be on that like it was the new girl in the military dorms.

yes, I wished they hadn't wasted time on the 380 and did a 45, but I;m sure they were listening to their market research

They have the 36 which is what I've been carrying lately. I bought the 42 (.380) and liked it. But when I would go pick a handgun to carry I went for my 36 more often than the 42. So I sold the 42 and lost maybe $50-$75. Not bad for almost a full year's use.

A kid at academy swore to me glock made a single stack .45. I asked him to show me one but he said that they haven't had one. I knew he was full of it.

    The G36 is a single stack. I love mine! However it's a sub-compact. 6+1 of .45acp.

Edit: I've also come to realize the majority that work Academy/Gander Mountain don't know much about firearms other than what they carry in their store. Its as if they learn on the job.

LOL, I'd forgotten about the little cricket 36:green:

    I would like to handle a G30 SF and a 36 sometime.

I just got my 21 updated with some fancy milling, RMR cut and a new coating.

The work was done by my gunsmith North of Dallas, Cerakote was by somebody else in McKinney. It ended up being a double sublet job to get it all done. Prices start around $130 and go up from there based on design and what is actually getting done. (Just RMR vs slide milling or both.)

For the mods, I am not selling, just showing. This has been a 2 month process to get it all together and I am pumped to finally have it done. I will PM with any specifics.

I have reduced my Glock collection recently due to finding they just really don't fit my hand that great and other handguns work much better for me. However, I have kept one, my Gen 3 Glock 17 FDE. Has Glock night sights, Glock extended mag release and Glock extended slide stop. it actually stays at the house for my wife to use. I did have a Glock 22, Glock 23 and Glock 27, but sold them all.

    as a bullet caster...
any pistol that you have to go and buy a extra barrel to shoot cast bullets in is just plain wrong.

Meh, I shoot my same cast bullets through my G19 and G20 as I do my 1911's and S&W. Glocks are just like everything else around my house, you either eat what you get or go hungry.

Hard cast are okay but soft lead bullets will cause excessive pressure as the polygonal rifling leads up and plugs.

One of the current house blasters, though more of a range gun and general beater. Mods:

    • Gen 2 G17
    • Gen 3 RTF2 frame
    • Overwatch Precision DAT trigger
    • Ghost Edge connector, standard OEM trigger return spring
    • Aro-Tek extended slide release lever (experimenting with this vs. Vickers for fun)
    • Warren Sevigny .215" height .115" width front sight, .130" wide rear sight (always leaned towards ~.150-.156" wide rear notches, but I'm actually liking this combo a LOT)
    • White Sound Defense steel uncaptured guide rod (new experiment, dropping down to 15-17# in recoil spring weight)
    • White Sound HRED extractor plunger
    • Apex Tactical firing pin safety (standard spring weight)
    • Surefire "U-boat" (X300U-B)
    • Magpul GL21

    Dear sirs and madams,

Glocks are tools and nothing more. My weapons are tools and works of art. Put the correct tool into the job, my pappy used to say. The Glock may get the job done but it is like the ugly fat girl in middle high school that every lad would take a secret session from but would only be seen with a bird. Buy the bird!

    Thanks kindly,
