Cell phone choices suck

i have a S7 Edge. I have been using Notes for a few years and it got axed when I needed a new phone.

The choices do indeed suck. I also use an Iphone 6 plus or 6s plus i have no idea (work phone) and wife has a 7 plus?

Anyhow, choices suck.

I absolutely love the android platform, and strongly prefer Samsung... and wish I had a note-sized screen with stylus.

However the battery life sucks nutts.

iPhone battery is insane, i can leave my work phone in my office friday afternoon, and on Monday morning it'll still have 98% battery.
iphone MMS is 100x better, and FaceTime is a cool feature, especially with kids. But the OS sucks butts compared to Android.

I have a ZTE which seems to work well. Battery life could be better. Before this I had a Samsung something or other.
When the battery started to fail, I just bought an aftermarket battery for it. It was good for another 2 years.

The G6 is fantastic. I can leave mine uncharged for 2.5 days with moderate use before I need to charge it. The phone is quick, has a fantastic screen, ridiculously nice camera, and isn't loaded with all the spam some of the other phones come with.

Around 4 GB between me and my wife. I moved to Tmobile though, so I have unlimited. Usual thing is browsing the web when i aint doing anything at work.

Me, wife, youngest daughter. 18 gigs.
Mostly me. Cuz I send and receive a ton of documents for work.
20 gig plan with rollover. 10 gig plan was killing me.

236 MB/Unlimited since my last billing cycle which was on the 18th.

the LG G6 is a good looking phone with a good camera. It seems to be priced right there with the Samsungs

I found a new Galaxy S7 online at Worstbuy for a pretty decent price.
I searched and search on Amazon for a new or a certified refurb but the reviews scared me off. Too many of those are international versions, some problems with charging jacks and not all of the bands for LTE coverage.

The wife has a S7 Active. Its a darn good phone, great camera and good battery life. I don't want the Active tracking crap though.. I know I'm lazy, I don't need my phone sending me text reminding me...

I was at over 260 a month for a long time using my grandfathered Verizon unlimited. That was running my house and all the netflix and other movie sources ect.

They decided a month before offering unlimited again that I was using to much data and canceled my account and wondered why I did not want to get one of the new cool plans they offer.

needless to say I am no longer a customer.
