Good to see you are alright Ben.

Also, might be unrelated, but our HEB gas station was closed for gas, the guy was still in there and but Unleaded price sign was off.

    .
Several gas stations in San Antonio are reporting gas shortages in the wake of Tropical Storm Harvey, which has caused devastating flooding in Houston and destruction along the Texas coast.

Employees at multiple Exxon, Chevron and 7-Eleven stations on the North Side reported early Thursday that they were out of gas and have not received their scheduled shipments.

    Insurance question.
Does a car dealership need flood insurance, like a homeowner does for possessions, to cover flood damage to vehicles on its lot?

Had the same question back during Allison for company vehicles. At that time, vehicles might be covered by some specialty inventory insurance, or by the manufacturer's, but not necessarily under the commercial policy available from the NFIP, as "most self-propelled vehicles such as cars, including their parts", were specifically excluded. Most likely hasn't changed.

I filled up last Thursday and haven't driven since. I'm not looking forward to replacing my gas once I've burned it off. Unpleasant memories of Ike (or was it Rita?) and the gas station lines are burned into my brain.

People are freaking out up here in Odessa, nowhere near any flooding, it's ridiculous. HEB parking lot was packed to where people couldn't even get in, I couldn't believe it.

One question, am I violate the curfew if I left for work before 6am?
Have to take 99 Grand Parkway and it almost twice longer than my normal route.
