I think it's less complicated than the internet may lead you to believe.

That what was once a handshake agreement between two adjacent Texas landowners, must now be codified by law as to how it must be done "legally", is arguably "complication", and by government edict.
More government interference in your business, leading to the necessity of the advice to "get a lawyer", and another restriction on what you can to with your property.
Sorry, but it's a damned shame to see the NE and West Coast crowded rat syndrome manifest itself in rural areas in this once great State.

Never let some else own/rights to your land by any agreement. Never ever, never ever.

Nothing in this thread translated to giving anyone rights or ownership over another's property.

Then you can not read very well. When you understand survey law and property issues. You would run away so fast from this it’s not funny.

Do it with me and own your land with in 10 years or less.

We came up with maybe possibly combining both our properties which would give us our 10+ acres.

Where should we start in order to make this legally happen?

Where I live it's still a handshake. I shot on another private range where it was just a handshake.

    It's not so complicated.

Admittedly, when it comes to hunting you are tonhave written consent. But then it would only be an issue if the person who gave consent decides to tell a game warden he did not. This is a problem with people, not gov. If a handshake doesn't work, it's the fault of the people involved.

The problem is indeed with the people who presented the camel with the opportunity to stick its nose under the tent to start with, resulting in just one more nail in the coffin of property rights of the individual.

The Game Warden is a friend of mine and he says the only restriction is that the bullet must not go off your property. All of my neighbors shoot and we don't have any problem. Put up a strong backstop and start shooting. If you are responsible there shouldn't be a problem.

You do realize that many people in Texas , including maybe you , do not have 100% of the mineral rights to their land ?

What you are talking about here are two different things/issues so why the hell are you trying to mud water that have nothing to do with each other.
    Is absolutely stupid, idiot thinking.
You think your trying to prove something, think about what you say next time. And there is no percentages in mineral rights its either you have them or not. Try reading next time, maybe some survey law might help you, make sure its current.
