    Friends,

I've found a 1990 F250 DIESEL PU near Alice, TX that needs the Engine Oil Cooler replaced & the High-Pressure Pump replaced also, so that I can drive it home.
(I have both new parts, ready to install.)

This is about a THREE HOUR job, for which I will pay cash, IF I can find a competent diesel mechanic down there.
(I'd sooner not pay 2.50 per mile to have it towed to San Antonio.)

Responses by PM or by email to: texasnative46@gmail.com

    THANKS, satx

Any competent mechanic can replace those parts. Say you wanted the injectors tested. Then a diesel mechanic should do it because of tools needed. It's all the same bolts. Gas or diesel.

    grasshopperglock,

AGREED 100%. Nonetheless, I have NO contacts in the Alice area anymore. = The one guy I knew down there passed away.

NOT a difficult job though somewhat messy to do.

    THANKS, satx

    robertc1024,

NO RUSH. = The Ford PU isn't going anyplace, until the repairs are completed.
(The PO passed away over a year ago & it's not been started since then, at least. Also, the 2 batteries are DEAD.)

THANKS for the offer to help.

    yours, satx
