Just kidding (mostly) on the cleavage thing. Normally, if I am open carrying, and I’m dressed like a middle aged “mom,” no one seems to notice me. Nor the pistol. I’m practically invisible. Especially if I’m on the move, walking into a store, etc.


It’s more likely for someone to eye my pistol if someone is behind me in a checkout line or something, stuck there with nothing to draw their attention except what’s on my hip along with the national enquirer magazines. But it’s rarer that I open carry now as I have upped my experience points on how to CC in a way that works for me. Took a year or so to figure that out.

Honestly tho, I think a lot of it is mentally approaching it differently.

Once we stop assuming that people are sizing us up and looking for a gun, which isn’t realistic, it makes CC a lot more natural and enjoyable
