    Helotes!
Yeah but they also cost twice as much, LOL. I just got her the Mechanix because I was using them to my satisfaction, and I was using them because a buddy of mine is an actual mechanic and I got them from him

But Mechanix gloves don't say "Operator" on them! That alone is worth double the price! :clown:

Most military "operators" I've known use Mechanix gloves as they are effective and relatively inexpensive (therefore disposable).

The vast majority of those who wear Oakley or other "operator" gloves are airsoft or paintball commandos. :grenade:

Mechanix gloves get the job done despite the lack of "flash!"

Those gloves are the thing. I had at least 8 pair. Still have 3. I've used a pair exclusively to hunt through thick cedar trees. Best glove I ever used. Use them on a car all the time. If you keep a pair just for shooting. It'll a couple years to wear them out. If you shoot every third day.

I recommend cheap white gloves with rubber nubs in the palms, such as those purchased through an industrial supply house. They cost less than a dollar each, wash up easily for re-use and have a minimal impact on your grip. You can carry several pairs with you and change them out as you get them sweat-soaked. Nitrile, PVC or rubberized gloves are all very hot and will make your hands sweat heavily after a short time.

We've been replying to this like you're a dude with man hands. How much girly hand lotion do you use? I'd suspect hand lotion isn't helping with the grip.
Zero lotion. It was a good guess though.

It’s not that my grip is really problematic.

It’s just when it’s hot as balls my hands do sweat a normal amount and that’s what I wanted to solve.

I just checked on my product I linked upthread and I thought I checked out on Amazon but it seems I didn’t checkout. I’ll order it today.

The Talon grips mentioned at the first of this thread work very well on my poly pistols.
The price is reasonable. Usually less than $20 shipped. You can get a rubberized texture grip or a more sandy grit finish grip.
Besides if you decide you don't like it, just peal it off. Proper prep is critical to good product performance with this product.
    My $0.2.

It is all in your mind.

I have students in my security classes use the sweaty hands excuse for loading mags, racking slides and just about anything else they can’t do efficiently.

It is usually guys that come in “knowing how to use a gun”

I dispel this sweaty hands bullshit by dunking my hands in a bucket of soapy water and then go through the drills.

I will then spray Remoil on my hands and repeat.

Alternatively, keep a dish towel in your range bag if sweaty hands just bug the crap out of you.

I’m quite sure the sweat is not in my mind. I’m not making excuses for my shooting. I shoot fine while sweaty. I just don’t like dealing with sweaty hands if I don’t have to.

I shot at me AGAG meeting yesterday morning and it was a bit overcast and my hands didn’t sweat even though it was pretty HOT and getting more and more humid as the morning advanced. Got out of there a bit after 10:30 am and got the feeling that if I had stayed I might have started getting sweaty.

In the afternoons and evenings. Where I live, it’s what I consider the apex of high humidity and excessive temperature (dramatic much? Well sure I am). Going to matches around noontime... outside... yeah I’m gonna sweat. I do keep a towel, but sweat on my hands is gross and annoying and wiping sweat constantly seems to be a pain

My no sweat grip product came in yesterday AFTER I got back from the range. So I will try it soon.
