What will the US look like tomorrow, post-Trump?

If you live in a large city, say the top 50 in population across the US your city will look a lot like Chicago. A few cities such as Austin will continue on its march to be the San Francisco of the East. Having lived in both cities I will say that Austin is well on the way.

Who will rule these cities on the horizon? There will be 2 governments. The elected crowd which will be dominated by Blacks, Whites and a few Latino's. The other government which will be know as the Shadow will be run by Latino's (mostly MS 13) with Black gangs doing the daily dirty work. In other words gangs will rule and the elected govt will not only allow it but work with the gangs to insure it. They will do so by rules and regs that make it easy for the gangs to rule the streets. Just look to Chicago does now and other cities are well on their way like Philly. Sanctuary cities will be the norm rather than the exception. Cities not run by MS 13 and Black/Latino enforcers will be controlled by Muslims and Sharia law will be the law of the land.

Socialism will creep across America like a cancer with more and more cities ushering in UBI, Universal Basic Income, Chicago is the first major city in the US to launch it and it is spreading thru Europe like a wildfire.

Socialism is the new face of the Democratic Party...

It's really amazing that in my lifetime we've gone from being infuriated at Nikita Khrushchev saying that "We (the Soviet Union) will bury you!"

The Reds didn't have to do anything but wait patiently. The Lefties in this country have already embedded socialism so deep that it's cancer is destroying the democracy and freedom we once held so dear.

We have to tolerate every idiot and degenerate's ideologies, but we're not allowed to be pro-America. It was bad enough when it was just Commiefornia, but now we're even seeing it in Texas. Sad.

You're not wrong ole cowboy. The proof is in the mental gymnastics democrats use. Look at the transition from each generation of democrat. My dads generation wasn't bad. My generation and younger are being acclimated to saying or being ok with hearing communism wasn't so bad. Democratic socialism is used all the time now. My generation went stupid.

I don't believe your generation "went stupid", though I will say y'all were brought up in ignorance. And it is most likely the fault of my generation, as a whole. While there were pockets of intelligent parenting, there were a lot more that just wanted to make it "easier" on their children and not reinforce a lot of the teachings that should have been taught. And that teaching pattern kept snowballing until we have the avalanche of ignorance and stupidity we have now.

I don't buy that the "Reds didn't do anything" for a second... it's called subversion, and they never stopped...

    Just one example:

And Cowboy, your description comes off a bit racist... I'll submit there are PLENTY of whites that push the agenda based on using white guilt for shit we didn't do (and for many of us, our ancestors didn't either)...

First of all, socialism isn't a new face. If you thought there wasn't much socialism around under Obama, you don't know much about Obama.

Second, I have some faith in those that haven't lost their mind and many that are daily realizing that they can think for themselves. If, and I can't see how he won't, Trump wins a second term cities like Austin may begin to be taken back by the rational minded people. Certainly today and in the near future Austin will get worse for the people that are in power now are making it that way. If there is a state that has a city that is in the most trouble of becoming like San Francisco, it's Denver. Colorado was a red state before Obama and then Denver became his project city for socialism.

In fact the democrats have had socialism in their sights even before Obama, just look at Detroit and see what socialism did to it.

All you really need to do is look at any of the "welfare" states that encompass the Great Lakes and north and east coast and you'll see it in ugly practice. Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, New York, Philly, etc. and etc. and it is now growing ever more prevalent in southern and western states as more and more people fall for the lies of communism under the guise of socialism.

If this country doesn't wake the phuk up, we are going to go the way of the ancient Greek Republic

True, and under Obama I had little hope that things would get better. When Trump was elected I wasn't sure, but after seeing how things are turning around and more and more people waking up from the Obama spell, I have renewed hope for this country. As long as people keep their eyes open to another smooth talking nobody politician promising dreams of an Utopian society, I believe less and less push towards socialism will be found acceptable. That's not to say that things will turn around quickly, for I believe it will take years to undo the damage done.

The problem is its now acceptable to ask for something without earning it. For those of us with a brain, you can't be on a budget and give people all your money. I'm sure people somehow think we can just print more. Just make more the guy in his 30s playing video games says.

Hardly anyone thinks financially conservative and socialism sounds great to people who can get a free ride via programs that will somehow screw others. Typically things that should be funded. But no...losers need stuff. How dare all of you here not think of the adults who just wanna smoke weed and play video games!

There are always going to be those that want something for nothing, that's one of the reasons why communism/socialism got a foothold in the first place. If you promise people they will be taken care of yet never explain that freedom is the price, all that many hear is something that sounds like security. That's what welfare has done to many, and those are the people that will hang onto the lies longer.

Easy Rider I don't think Communism took foot hold because people wanted something for nothing.

If you look at the circumstances of where communism took hold it wasn't because people wanted something for something.

Bolshevism and communist revolutions really took hold out of the trenches in WW1. People were living under monarchies where they were being sent in droves to die in the worst possible conditions the world had ever seen for absolutely nothing more than the pride of their Monarch rulers (who were on all opposing sides, actually first cousins mind you) and some stupid pieces of paper called treaties.

They were sick of working on the land they couldn't own, or in town jobs for aristocrat owned companies that practically owned them and didnt even pay enough to support their family. Etc and so on, communists in 1916 weren't the acid munching long haired hippies of the 60s, not the free-ride through life 19 year old university students who's concept of hardship is going without a phone for a couple days of todays era.

The communists that started the communist revolutions in Europe were hard fighting hard working stoic individuals who were willing to die for their right to say **** off, I want something more than this bullshit. And I have no doubt would scoff at the motivations of the socialist kids of today.

Unfortunately it didn't work out that way as we all know it was a corrupted system that was born with good motivations but is easily and almost always abused and corrupted, but that is not to say that those people way back then who tried to change their countries for the better were freeloaders.

I wasn't referencing from communism around the world, it was as it pertains to the U.S.

It didn't start from welfare, but welfare is a product of it.

Debt is the whole key to the socialist movement. As long as they can run up the debt, the socialists will be fine. When they can no longer borrow and the debt is called, things will start to turn around. My guess the first hit will be the pensions of all those state (government) employees.

I read this week were Canada was trying the basic income approach in some areas and has now given up on it. Seems they figured out someone has to actually pay for this free stuff.

It's scary enough with all the figures, but here is a scary reality. If certain debts were called by some countries, we would not have enough printed money to cover it.

We are definitely "upside down ".
