This just drives me crazy. I thought that they had fixed this ridiculous law.

"An intern for U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was arrested by U.S. Capitol police this week after officers found shotgun shells in his car, CNN reports.

Capitol police said officers responded to a dispute Monday between the intern, Scott Frantz, and another person. The officers “observed the unregistered ammunition in the back of the vehicle,” according to the cable news outlet.

Frantz was charged with possession of unregistered ammunition. Cruz’s office placed Frantz on leave, a Cruz aide told CNN."

    How do you register ammo?

Looked it up. To have a gun in D.C., you need a permit/registration, and you're only allowed to have ammo in calibers for guns you got registered. This includes reloadable empties! No "peaceable journey" laws to protect people from other states traveling to/through D.C.

While the DC police were cuffing and charging this dangerous criminal, 2 women were raped, 3 stores were robbed and, 5 cars were stolen.
But, they got that unregistered ammo off the streets!

Which may have very well just been some empty shotgun shells rolling around the bed of a pickup.

Wow, DC is more jacked up than I thought. We'll see how long it takes for Robert to capitalize on this.

You and I both. Lol. I still have spent shells and brass cases in my truck.
The sad thing is that every time I get on an airplane, I have to triple check all of my bags. My clothes closet is where all my crap goes after I shoot. My luggage is in there too. Ya know, you better know where your empty brass is - for the children's sake and all.
