If the 17th Amendment were repealed this would be a non-issue. The Senate would lean much more heavily towards the Right.

I suspect that the Leftist Liberals have stepped on their dicks. Their antics have stirred up the Conservative base. I'm hoping the blue wave turns into a Red Tide. If President Trump gains more seats in both houses it's going to be funny to see the complete meltdown on the left.

If that happens and one of the libs on the court dies it's going to be something to watch when President Trump nominates another Constitutional judge.

According to my rough calculations, time is up for the Democrat comments roughly 24 hours from now. Senator McConnell should be busy scheduling when the final full Senate floor vote will take place. Standby for an announcement from McConnell later today. (Vote should be around four or five o’clock tomorrow).

They’ll probably have VP Pence standing by “just in case”. (I suspect he won’t be needed).

I will not be celebrating until the Confirmation vote is in. Collins stated she is a Yes (that's great!). However, that leaves 3 wild cards (Flake, Manchin, and Murkowski). So the vote takes place alphabetically, right?. If Flake flakes out and votes No, I can see Manchin voting No as well (Making it 50-49 NO without counting Murkowski). People say he is up for his political life in WV. He is voting his political life against the Left if he votes to confirm. Murkowski (if she holds to her cloture vote) is a NO (Making it 51-49 NO). If she votes yes, than it is 50-50 with Pence voting to confirm

Both Flake and Manchin have already announced they will vote in the affirmative for Kavanaugh’s confirmation as of this time stamp. And Senator Lisa will be voting ‘no’ but the GOP has already taken that into account.
