Doesn't really show in the pic, but the slide has that nice, deep plum color we all love about vintage German guns.

About 10,000 of them made in the early 2000s, mostly in .40S&W and .357 Sig, but some also in .45ACP, America's caliber!

I had never seen one in person and somehow thought it was gonna be about the size of a Kel-Tec P11, LOL. Also weighs a ton (32.7 ounces/927 grams, tick over two pounds), loaded/unloaded almost doesn't make a difference. Been chasing THAT dragon since they first came out.

The M2 was supposed to fit in the same class as the SIG 229 and the S&W 6906.....before CCW was a widespread thing and the 239 & 3913 were considered tiny 9mms.....

Some 9 and 10 luv this evening.
Glock 17 and Kimber 10mm Long Slide.

Love the grips on that 10! Wish I could have stopped by the range today, instead I had to wait on the cable guy between the hours of 12:00 to 8:00 PM. He showed at 5:00.:banghead:
