You guys are delusional if you think Beto is one and done. Mark my words, you will see him in another election. I'll go out on a limb and say 2020.
I would bet on him being slated as a VP pick for whoever wants ProgLeft"EyeCandy" on their ticket.

Showing photos of hispanics blubbering about bob orouke election loss is a stinkin lie.

Hispanic folk are smart as any and showing a bunch of em, looking grief stricken is a bogus.

You obviously have not met my cousin and her entire family to include my retired AF uncle on my mother's side. Her brother is a BP agent. She is a teacher too and the meme this morning was - if you don't believe in the caravan you should not celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Not too smart in my opinion but hey to her and some here, I am a thug.

    sharkey,

    Yikes!

Do you mean bob o's loss does affect a lot of Hispanics.

    Please, say it ain't so.

How could they possibly be hoodwinked into believing this fraud is what he claims?

O'Rourke will be back. He is just like Obama. Lies about being a moderate, young, some charisma.

I just have a hard time believing that 4 million people in Texas were either ignorant and/or gullible enough to vote for O'Rourke. Amazing. Disgusting.

    Let’s see:

He was running against Cruz, who is not well-liked among the Republican establishment and does not present well on TV.

The Dems went all-in behind him with record amounts of money.

The lamestream media dubbed him a “rock star” and gave him a free pass not only on his criminal history, but also his brazen lies about it (and the fact that daddy obviously used his influence to keep baby Beto out of jail.)

If all that plus the usual mid-term effect and record turnout couldn’t carry Beato across the finish line, I’m not real worried about him.

Every few years the liberal elites from outside the state tell us there’s a new lib rock star who’s going to enlighten us backwards Texas:
First it was Ann Richards, the one-term Gov who didn’t win the election, Clayton Williams GAVE it to her. Her political career died like a bug on a windshield soon as she faced a halfway competent opponent.
Next up was Victor what’s his name, the school teacher who was supposed to unseat Phil Gramm.
A few years ago it was Wendy “Melanoma Barbie” Davis who was going to ride her filibuster of an abortion bill in to the Gov mansion.

Who’s heard anything about those folks lately?

I love the last sentence in that article talking about him running for POTUS.

. "This is sad and unfortunate right now, but in the long run, we might be happy because he has the next six years to focus on something bigger than Texas."

I wonder if she realizes that if he has the next 6 years, she basically said the Dems have no chance in 2020.

Guns have only two enemies: rust and politicians!
