    The best safety you have is keeping the booger hook off the trigger until you have to fire the pistol. Some companies build holsters that are a disaster waiting to happen. I have some sticky holsters. I always take the sticky holster out of my pocket then insert the holster and pistol into my pocket. However, this was an IWB tuckable holster made out of very thin material. So again you probably need to insert the pistol with the holster outside of the waistband to be safe. This holster also has no clip.
