I just figured the ammo is reloads if it's in a bag. I've never seen new ammo packaged that way. Still haven't bought from either one of them. Just putting it out there if anyone needs immediate gratification.

I'm looking at the bag and figuring it's real.

Screen shot and was about to order and then remembered reading I think here about a recall on some Winchester 130 gr. ammo. And these are the 100-round boxes just like in the recall, but no way of knowing the markings. Wondering if this is it and they're fire selling it knowing it will be recalled? Enough to make me nervous. So will probably pass.

Not saying it is impossible, but I doubt. All the retailers have to do is return the recalled ammo to Winchester. As easy to do that as to sell to customers. Particularly when said customers might be ticked off.

I'll be the guinea pig. Just ordered from Bud's. Even with insured shipping, it's only $.18 per round.

There's no way Buds would be knowingly selling ammo that has been recalled due to the possibility of excessive powder charges. The potential liability is just too great.

I've still got the notice from Winchester on the recall, so I'll cross check the UPC number and lot numbers when my ammo order arrives.

Me too! Then I think I got some for $75 and maybe a little less. They still run around $50+ these days, but I will say they are truly heavy duty mags.

My 223 Wylde loves that Federal 556 that comes on stripper clips in an ammo can. Someone has a deal, but I generally grab it at Academy.

.45 never seems to be on a particularly good sale. It was good a while back with the BlazerBrass Rebate program. TargetSports or SG Ammo is gonna be your best bet or just swing by Wally and pick up the Winchester 200rd boxes.

.223/5.56 is in the .25 to .30 cent range to your door. Just depends on where you want to get it. Same 2 locations above for a large bulk purchase or Academy/Wally for a local buy.

I would also scroll back a few pages and click some links. Obviously some of the sales may not still be active, but they may have cycled back to a sale price too.

For 45 are you looking for HP, FMJ or both? I think I just posted one for HP a little while back.
