    Morning

The don't look a gift horse in the mouth post:

Not as rough as it looks, and much more likely to survive me than the old one I demolished earlier this year.

At least it's SAFE to walk on, less of a liability, and hopefully the leaky roof is temporarily fixed. The 12' x 12' swim dock still needs to be installed and put on piers.

Will redo the roof, do some bracing, and paint after the lake draw down in November ... a prudent plan which keeps the shop dummy off ladders.

    New(er) vs Old:

I am NOT an electrician but I may be dealing with 240v or even higher next week, trying to pull small amounts of braided insulation off old wiring. Is there a non-conductive pliers/needle nose or similar readily available at a hardware store? Link please. :)

Good pliers have insulated handles. Most do but Kline or Greenlee would be the most trusted.

Usually sold by the electrical stuff not the tool department at the big box stores.

There might be some gloves to consider too. Welding gloves if nothing else.

PS not an expert in that department by any means.

If you just use your knife post video please.
