I have to go back to work tomorrow after being off for a week.

    Moonpie is a sad panda.

    But not today.

    Today is a range day.
Urge to disassemble ammunition is strong!

Tried to do my fair share. I made for positive certain that the cut dead tree lengths behind the non functioning water heater were very most certainly dead. And I also, quite unknowingly, due to the fact that I was trying to make for positive certain that the alleged dead water heater was, in fact, dead, and that the dead tree sections behind the alleged dead water heater were, in fact, also dead, killed a small lizard. Which is bad because it eats unwanted bugs. At least I can rest easy knowing that the water heater and dead tree sections behind it, are well and truly dead. Might need to check again in a few days just to make sure.

Are we interested in the tree sections, water heater, or the bugs?

Well, the bug killer got kilt, the tree sections are dead for sure, and a few pounds heavier due to the added lead and copper weight. And the water heater, though it did make a valiant attempt to try to protect the dead tree sections, didn't that great a job at it, as it looks quite similar to a vertical colander, and just reinforced the fact that a water heater is not good nor safe cover, when on the receiving end of gunfire. Your mileage may vary, of course, due to this being an empty vessel and not providing the liquid
    variable.

All this to say, I shot the $hit out of the old water heater in front of my wood pile and accidentally killed a lizard while doing it.

Probably some metal fragment too at 992 fps +-

And the screaming part wasn't me. That was the sounds of freedom being played with gunpowder accompaniment.
