But, it's not a Glock.
Everybody knows that they always blow up...
ZX9RCAM; SQLGeek,
ONE reason that I specifically asked about the ACTUAL EXPERIENCE of a forum member, as an OWNER/SHOOTER, is that I wanted to know if the "Worldwideweird" reviews were accurate, from someone who likely knows from personal observation/use. = I do NOT have experience with the WALTHER pistol.
Nonetheless, what I said about the Glock design is NOT just my opinion but that of SEVERAL senior Metro DC Police investigators reference "unintended discharges", while still in the MPD-issue holsters & the FACT that "Glock corporate" quietly "settled with" the wounded LEOs for their injuries.
My opinion is also, in part, based upon the report on the "exploding Glock" made by the Provost Marshal's office & the by the USSS Special Agents AND upon SEEING the "bloody mess" that the Postal Inspector's face was after the Glock 19 "came apart". = It was NOT "a pretty sight".
The Army surgeon, who treated the Inspector, said in his "input" to the official Army Incident Report that: The USPS Inspector was extremely lucky to have not lost his eye.
