    Thanks for that

Quite the irony, a German company making 1911 style pistols but the times have been changing I suppose. It looks very nice but am looking specifically for a Llama right now.

As for Bud's Gun Shop - I would not buy a gun (or anything) from them if someone else gave me the money to buy it and I mean that literally. When I lived in Nassau County NY they would not ship firearms or ammo there because, as I understood, according to them Nassau County is/was located in New York City (which it most definitely is not) and they could not legally ship firearms to Nassau County. No matter how many people explained their error to them (and I know quite a few who contacted them on this issue), they remained smugly steadfast in error. They were also rather nasty as well - at least when I contacted them. To some, they claimed Nassau was within New York City, to others they said it borders NYC so no sales allowed. Funny they do not do the same to anyone in Westchester County which also borders NYC. Apparently they never bothered to actually verify whether or not Nassau County is in or out of NYC or to check the legality of sending guns to FFLs within Nassau County (legal). If they wanted to screw over people in Nassau County and did not want to accept my money while I was living in Nassau County, I see no reason to give them even a penny of it now.

That policy is still in effect, I just checked here: https://www.budsgunshop.com/state_restrictions.php Go to that link then click on New Yorkistan. I can assure you they have lost a lot of business because of their arrogant go screw yourself if you live in a gun restricting state attitude. It's kind of like how many snooty RKBA types feel about those who own firearms mostly to hunt. It is a shame that gun folks sometimes treat their own like scat with absolutely no good reason to do so. Sure, Bud's can set whatever sales/shipping terms they want within the law but I can spend my money where I want as well and it is surely not going to be with them.

    Hey Glenn,

Only posted Bud's to show you the relative price. Buy from anyone you want. I am sure it can be found elsewhere.

I just bought this from one of our sponsors, GUNTAP. I got the Gold Cup model. It was about the same price including tax. Great guy. Made me feel better buying locally and thru sponsor. He had it in his shop 2 days after I ordered it. I don't buy much, but I'll always check his pricing before I order on-line again.

Those browning 22 Autos are fine and beautiful guns. Yours looks to be in excellent condition, nice find. I have had a Remington 241, The Speedmaster, essentially the same thing. Both are nice guns. The only thing I do not care for much about them is they bottom eject, I never quite got used to that. Sold mine and of course have seller's remorse.

Received my Romanian M69 Trainer at last. USPS was supposed to deliver it to the dealer on the 24th. Oh well, I have it and it looks pretty nice. Had I been in Geneva. NY at the live auction, I would have walked out the door with this for only $41.39. With the slightly higher buyer's premium for a high online bid, no tax, but add shipping and FFL fee, I put out $93.97 for it. Too bad it's not C&R eligible.

I find it hard to believe no one bid more than my $35.00 bid. I was concerned it would be in bad shape that being the high bid but it looks pretty good. Nice metal, okay wood with poor refinish, excellent bore, has the cleaning kit in the stock. Now if the firing pin is not broken that will be excellent. As I remember these cannot be dry fired with much hope that the firing pin will not break. A range trip will tell.

Completed my AR15 5.56 pistol build except for the BCG and charging handle which come in today. Also the blast deflector that was posted here coming in from China. Almost forgot the Streamlight TLR-7 also coming in today.
