Are y'all referring to 40 Short and Weak or the magnum version, 10mm?
10mm is just a marketing gimmick intended to take advantage off all the fan bois in who think using metric measurements give mystical commie powers to an otherwise underwhelming cartridge.

Pretty much describes the 11.43x23......10mm is just a marketing gimmick intended to take advantage off all the fan bois in who think using metric measurements give mystical commie powers to an otherwise underwhelming cartridge.

Today, we know more about ballistics and fighting with firearms than we ever have before. We know that theres no difference in ballistics in 9, .40, or .45
So what does your .45 do that justifies it's selection over 9 or .40?
Ok, IF that were true (it is not), what does 9mm do that justifies it's selection over .40 or .45?
Cheap, high capacity, lightweight, low recoil, # of firearms options...
You know, all the things that actually matter in a handgun? Things that, you know, make it true?
Did you really have to ask? Did you time travel from the 1950's?
Cheap and weak, got it. Personally I prefer the ones that are expensive and not for the faint of heart.

Please delete that picture, its making all the .45 fan boys think thats what their 1911 shoots, and it's making good information harder to share without having to defend it left and right
Its been a great time catching up on this thread
Well...the thread is about how we feel about metal guns and THAT is a metal gun.
I do prefer metal over polymer.
I do prefer revolvers over auto loaders.
I am a .45 and 1911 fan, my personal favorite round and auto loader gun design.
The only good (true) information you've shared on the 9mm subject is that it's cheaper, higher magazine capacity and lower recoil. Beyond that it's aaaaaall personal preference.
I hope y'all go to work tomorrow.
I'm there, multitasking as usual.I hope y'all go to work tomorrow.
