In boot camp, I told my DI I was sick, and he thought I was just trying to get out of duty. Standing in formation, I projectile vomited my lunch. Fortunately, I was in the front row. I got to go to sickbay.

I did the same (minus the vomit), was called a pussy and everything else. Spent 3 days in the infirmary with a 104 fever, and got shit when I got back for being a pussy.

Or you have to take a leak. True story: made fresh poppers with my son, he was at that age where Dad was about the dumbest thing on two legs. I told him to wash his hands carefully, of course he didn't. I watched him for a while to make sure he didn't touch his eyes, then he gets up to go pee......yes, there is a God. In a few seconds he comes running out yelling "Ah, ah, ah! It's burning, it's burning!" I tell him, "Shower, cold water, Dad's not so dumb now is he?"
