    Gunz are icky.
The last few years I haven't reloaded much except for the rare batch of truly oddball stuff like .30-40Krag or .218Bee or .455Webley.
9mm, 223, 12ga, and especially .22lr, have been so cheap to buy and stack deep I haven't even bothered with reloading.
Don't mean to beat a dead horse further but if you haven't stocked up well before now you deserve what you get.
Even a small modest cache of a few hundred rounds each of all your calibers was not a budget busting impossibility.
Gun people have been saying for years a panic would happen again and....well....here we are.

Agreed. Every 4 years (election) and at least once in between while they prime the stage (false flags). Note: I don a tinfoil hat. ;-)

If we have any REAL SHTF situation,

all that ammo in different calibers is unlikely to go with us to wherever. . . . . .

Are we actually going to carry six pistols in different calibers?

Better to have lots in the one or two calibers we are most likely to carry away !

Other than .223/.556, do you have enough ?

Just realized that I told my LEO Son to shoot up a bunch of expensive older defensive handgun stuff, which he said worked perfectly when fired at ranges. Now very low on everything not .45ACP.

    Lesson being learned!

    Y'all take care !

I have enough to defend, to provide, and to survive with. The thing is, I'm not going anywhere. If the SHTF to that point, we're bugging in and fortifying everything.

I'll give some casual thought into "bugging out" when the zombies are trying to knock the front down!

When looting and mass violence starts in the larger cities, to the point that LE is overwhelmed, I might have some concern. Quite frankly, I don't think we are anywhere near that at this time.

I think everyone just needs to take a breath, calm down and think about this situation with logic and common sense. Then act appropriately.

OK, so what is "act appropriately" ?

We've been "acting appropriately" while the internal enemies of our Nation have been destroying us !

Maybe people need to use some common sense and reason, instead of buying into the panic and fear.

Quite frankly, for the most part, I don't really care if people want to act stupid or inappropriately. As long as they keep it away from me, they can do as they please.

And if you are referring to the deep state politics, honestly, not much I can do about that. And IF that does intrude upon my little world, my actions, or reactions will never be discussed on some public forum or social media.

IOW's, where and when I draw my line in the Sand, and what I do if it's crossed are my business, and not for public discussion.

    Expensive lesson learned; “FYI”:

“Baby” LEO, multi NRA Instructor, & ATF Liason Officer, went to Nacogdoces for another NRA certification course requiring lots of shooting. After listening to “experts”, I gave him all of my old but EXPENSIVE defensive ammo to shoot up. Hydra-Shocks, Black Talons, Hornady factory rounds, etc. Some was 30+ years old but had been stored properly. Every round performed well. Now I’ve gotta restock. Lesson learned !

    Dang you're smart!

Did I deflect your question? Yes I did. At what point I make a decision on certain things, is entirely my business and not yours or others.

I need not justify or explain to you, or anyone else the decisions I will make in regards to how I deal with various issues.

I would like to think a man of your age would know to respect another person's privacy and not pry into things none of his business.

    I might be wrong though.

I look at the panic buying the same as people that depend on the Government to take care of them. It's all their own fault for not being prepared to deal with the things that happen in their lives. They get what they deserve.
If you don't read the warning signs that the past history has shown, and make sure that you and your family is prepared for doom & gloom, then you get what you deserve.
While I'm not a Prepper by any means,I try to stay stocked up on the supplies that I may need to make sure I can weather anything that shall arise be it an act of Nature,God,or,Government.

If you don't have enough gun's and ammo,it's your own damn fault. The leftist have been trying to take them away for decades.
If you don't stock up on fuel, simple food supplies, and water for at least a months worth of lock down, you evidently don't think about survival very much.
It's sad that most people have forgotten how to take care of themselves when things happen.

Once this Corona virus is done, and things get back somewhat normal, people need to see the light, and plan for survival better. Your life just might depend on it!

If SHTF there would be more than a million people passing my house for greener pastures.
I think suppressors more than ammo would make the difference. .22LR is deadly if used properly and easily suppressed. I could carry ten times more .22 than .223. Easily concealed and suppressed .22 pistols would be my choice... YMMV
