    What is your point? That you DO it, does not make it lawful.

    My point is simply I know, but when your family owns 1000s of acres - we do what we freaking want to do on our land. That is my point buckwheat. Geez, get off your high horse. What do you think I met when I said I wouldn't recommend you walk over to your neighbor in a typical subdivision OC?

    I am not wrong since I was right from the beginning. BTW, my family (Dad) owns the land, and I don't live there, but I OC when I visit. Get it? In the future, don't respond to me if you choose not to read my posts in advance.

    You really need to stop with the attitude. I don't care if you own millions of acres. The law applies everywhere the same. I would also say that if you are on your Dad's property you probably have control of that property. THAT is your authority to carry, not any permission from Daddy.

    And to refresh your memory, this is what you wrote "If you are on the "same" property of another, and with their permission of course, you can OC. You don't need "legal permission" to OC in these circumstances.".

    No one can give you permission to OC. All they can do is give you control over the property, which give you authority to carry.

    Again, as I have said, I know it is technically illegal, but I can also tell you in rural Texas it is done all the time. You must be a "city boy"...lol

    Eubanks; The court actually chastised the legislature for not more narrowly defining traveling, but overturned a conviction.

    All but two were overturned.

    Here is the summmary of one that was not overturned;

    One who went upon a visit to a place 15 miles distant from his home was not a traveler, within the proviso exempting travelers from prosecution for carry concealed weapons.

    Interesting reading, thanks for the links again.

    Read and then respond. Sort of like, listen and then speak. Going forward, I think I am going to consider you my "cyber huckaberry"...lol

    Look dude, your response was inaccurate, and you were corrected by several people. Knock off the attitude. Perhaps you should read and comprehend.

    Jesus Christ.
